Italian Cafe

One of my favorite items to cook is lasagna. cook lasagna for thanksgiving dinner rather than turkey. but whether are cooking lasagna, manicotti, ravioli, or perhaps pizza, the secret is in the pasta sauce. Here is recipe for great pasta sauce which is that the basis for most Italian meals.
used to use an outsized soup pan to organize the sauce but currently a slow cooker. it's easier because I do not have to be compelled to stir the sauce as much as I do cooking it over a stove. sometimes open the lid on the slow cooker to stir perhaps two or three times but aside from that the sauce is on its own. would like a food processor for this pasta sauce recipe. And of course would like the slow cooker.
This pasta sauce is a vegetable primarily based pasta sauce. sometimes add chicken or beef. Use food method or to grate four medium sized carrots and three baby zucchini squash; method one massive onion with three cloves of garlic and process a half stalk of celery with one bunch of parsley. Place all these all these ingredients on the lowest of slow cooker which have set on the low cooking time and temperature.
Now cowl the ingredients with two 28 ounce cans of diced tomatoes and one eight ounce can of tomato paste. Stir all the ingredients together. currently add the spices. add one teaspoon each of rosemary, thyme, oregano, marjoram, basil, savoury, and sage. give that a decent stir. currently add concerning two tablespoons of sugar. The sugar cuts down the acidity of the tomato.
